Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Oct. 11th

Pepsi (PEP): stock went down almost 2 points. The quarterly report showed that the raw costs hurt the numbers in many of their domestic products, and thinks that many people are concerned that price increases will hurt sales. Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi was on the show to discuss the numbers, which she was very happy with. Nooyi thinks they can handle increased commodity costs and that earning will continue to increase.
Next, Cramer dressed up like a matador and talked about a Spanish stock. Cramer thinks that Spain has a good bull market, and that Banco Santander (STD) will prosper from its home market and the strength of the Euro compared to the US. Cramer said STD will make some acquisitions in the US and Latin America, growing and diversifying the bank's asset base. Cramer could see the stock making a 20% increase in the stock and a dividend increase as well.
Cramer took a couple of phone calls. First caller asked about Wells Fargo (WFC), and Cramer said that he likes the stock, but not as much as STD. The next caller asked about the Commerce Bank (CBH) merger, and Cramer said that the market had already priced an acquisition into the stock price in that case. The next caller asked about Banco Popular (BPOP), and Cramer said that he is not willing to buy that stock.
Sell Block
Cramer focused on the reasons you should sell Chipotle (CMG). Cramer is sad to see the stock go, but it is up 200% since he originally recommended it, and doesn't like the stock at this price.
PetSmart (PETM) CEO of the company was on the show. He discussed the fact that some of the company's sales are affected by weather patterns, and warmer weather hurts profits. Cramer still recommends the stock.
Finally, Cramer said that you should sell any Allegheny Technologies (ATI) stock you might have left from his recommendation of it last year.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap April 20

OM Group (NYSE: OMG - News), Fuel Tech (NasdaqGM: FTEK), Foster Wheeler (NasdaqGS: FWLT), Shaw Group (NYSE: SGR - News)
Completing his week-long segment which featured "green" stocks, Cramer unveiled his two favorite environmental companies: OMG and FTEK. OMG has 25% of the world's supply of cobalt which is used for hybrid car batteries. Cramer predicts cobalt should remain stable or go higher, especially since there are no new sources until 2009. OMG also has exposure to copper, which Cramer thinks will become more valuable, and is fixing its balance sheet. While he recommended FWLT and SGR earlier in the week as clean power picks, Cramer says they are for conservative investors, but for those who are looking for some risk, he likes FTEK as the ultimate speculative Green Day play. The company has technology to make coal power cleaner by reducing nitrogen-oxide emissions and has been getting "contract after contract." Since 49% of electricity in the US is derived from coal, and ethanol is not yet efficient, FTEK is "pretty important." On a general note, Cramer said even though the market is up, he is still bullish; “I am not exaggerating when I say the best is yet to come. We are going to be up 17%" this year."
Picks for the Week Ahead: VF Corp. (NYSE: VFC - News), Parker-Hannifin (NYSE: PH - News), Eaton (NYSE: ETN - News), Honeywell (NYSE: HON - News), Akamai Technologies (NasdaqGS: AKAM), Apple (NasdaqGS: AAPL), Boeing (NYSE: BA - News), PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP - News), Allegheny Technologies (NYSE: ATI - News), Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM - News), Halliburton (NYSE: HAL - News), Level 3 Communications (NasdaqGS: LVLT), NYSE (NYSE: NYX - News), Cummins (NYSE: CMI - News), National Oilwell Varco (NYSE: NOV - News)
While Monday will be quiet, Cramer says there will be a lot going on the market for the remainder of the week. On Tuesday, VFC and PH will report, and he expects an upside for both companies since VFC is a "Benefit of the Doubt" play, and he predicts PH will ride the wave with ETN and Honeywell. Wednesday will be busy, and Cramer limited his picks to five; he would buy Akamai for its streaming video and Apple for its iPhone ahead of their earnings reports, BA because it is going to $100, and ATI which will report a "giant number" and Pepsi. On Thursday, he would take a look at XOM, which will report, as well as HAL and LVLT, both of which have "lagged” but may run. Cramer's growth stock of the year, NYX, also reports on Thursday. Cummins and NOV are on the agenda for Friday and are “not done going up"
Mad Mail: Lamson & Sessions (NYSE: LMS - News), Charter Communications (NasdaqGM: CHTR), Dynegy (NYSE: DYN - News), Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD - News)
Cramer likes LMS as a potential acquisition and predicts the risk/reward is 1 point down and 6 points up. Concerning the CNBC 's Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge, Cramer said his favorite stocks are CHTR, DYN and RAD as "great single-digit plays and LVLT as a "good game name."

I still like the stock. I would still be a buyer. Buy, buy, buy!'Toyota Motor (NYSE: TM - News): 'The stock is stuck... It's been hurt by weak sales of Tundra - their F-150 competitor... Bearish calls:
Hudson City Bancorp (NasdaqGS: HCBK): ' ... with the yield curve... with the 10-year at 4.75%, and the short rates higher, that's a nightmare for any regional bank ... Don't buy, don't buy.'Force Protection (NasdaqCM: FRPT): 'I believe that SPAR, which then gives the products to FRPT, is the better play.'Veraz Networks (NasdaqGM: VRAZ): 'This one I got behind. It is not working. That is worrisome to me. When they don't work like this, I've got to pull my situation, and do more work.'XM Satellite Radio (NasdaqGS: XMSR): 'XMSR is very problematic ... The FCC and congress have made this dea (merger with Sirius Satellite Radio) too difficult ... I want to sell XMSR.'Crystallex (AMEX: KRY - News): 'KRY has been creeping up ... I would recommend sell at $4 and change. I'll buy it back at $2 and change. I do not trust this Chavez. You can't either.'CDW (NasdaqGS: CDWC)Washington Group (NYSE: WNG - News): 'I like the construction group, but you know my favorite has not been WMG, but it's been FWLT.'SAIC (NYSE: SAI - News): 'I don't want to be linked to government spending right now, because I think it's not trustworthy... Do not lose sight of that!'Hansen Natural (NasdaqCM: HANS)Accuray (NasdaqGM: ARAY): 'I think you're fine.'Harsco (NYSE: HSC - News): 'I think that this is a quintessential great industrial management company ... that's the kind of stock to buy right here. HSC, only about $1 off its high, but notice how it's held up. It is not that linked to housing. It is mostly industrial equipment.'Cummins (NYSE: CMI - News)Parker-Hannifin (NYSE: PH - News)Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT - News)Terex (NYSE: TEX - News)Lamson & Sessions (NYSE: LMS - News): 'Remember, I felt that this company is a natural to be acquired. Jim Cramer's Stop Trading Jan. 28

Allegheny Technologies (NYSE: ATI - News), Intel (NasdaqGS: INTC): Cramer "adores" ATI which he calls the "ultimate ethanol play," because it produces metals which are durable enough for the corrosive alternative fuel. He predicts that ATI will also get big orders from Intel, since the tech company is producing chips made of hafnium, and ATI is the leading producer of the metal. Although the stock has risen from $20 to $103 in only two years, Cramer is bullish on ATI.
Kroger (NYSE: KR - News), Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT - News), Safeway (NYSE: SWY - News): Cramer comments that the big supermarket chains such as KR and SWY are competing well against retail giant, Wal-Mart, and adds that the"feast-on-Wal-Mart trade has been great for Safeway," and he feels that Kroger will also benefit.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Lightning Round, Jan. 10th

Bullish calls:
Dell (NASDAQ: DELL - News): 'I have to tell you, you don't sell any of these PC stocks ahead of the Vista launch. You sell them one day after the Vista launch, and then I will do the sell, sell, sell."eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY - News): 'I am a minority of one. I genuinely think that EBAY is a good stock. ...said that they're buying Stub Hub, which I think is a brilliant acquisition. I'm not backing away; I'm backing the truck up for EBAY.'Boeing (NYSE: BA - News): 'People keep wanting to get off the BA horse. They're wrong! Monster quarter coming. AirBus still can't make the planes, for heaven's sake. I want to continue to buy BA, until it gets to $100.'Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX - News): 'The stock has been soggy now for about 80 cents ... But! That means it's an opportunity. And, yes! BSX - ever since we recommended it a dollar ago - has been on a slow creep up. I think it goes to $20 bucks, and then let's reconfigure.'Google (NASDAQ: GOOG - News): ' This company's going to have a good quarter. Notice that - every time it creeps up on the up days, I want to own this stock under $500. My price target remains in the $600 level. It will get there. Do not lose faith.'Blockbuster (NYSE: BBI - News)Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD - News)Crown Castle (NYSE: CCI - News): 'I'd swap out of C and move into CCI.'Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD - News): 'I think AMD's cheap ... I think AMD is better than Intel. I want to own AMD, ahead of the Vista launch.'Allegheny Technologies (NYSE: ATI - News): 'Those of you that are still looking for a new name, ATI has pulled back $10. Bring it in, bring it in. Buy, buy, buy!'Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO - News): ' ... one of my growth stocks of the year.'Lundin Mining (AMEX: LMC - News): ' I recommended this stock because I think it's got good fundamentals, and I think it can get a takeover. I'm not backing away from that. But ... commodities are in free fall right now ... Give it a little room, and then buy, because that thesis isn't going away. It's just right now dormant.'Allergan (NYSE: AGN - News): 'AGN has been going down off of a CIBC report that I think is gravely mistaken, saying that the breast implant business is not going to be good for AGN ... AGN's got Juvaderm ... AGN's got Botox ... I need you to buy AGN.'Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ - News): 'The only PC stock you can own for the whole year is HPQ. Because Mark Hurd is better than the average bear.'Lowe's (NYSE: LOW - News): 'I much prefer LOW. LOW's is better than Home Depot.'Monsanto (NYSE: MON - News): 'The analysts continue to hate it. I continue to like it. I like all the hybrid new corn that they've got.'
Bearish calls:
Sirenza Microdevices (NASDAQ: SMDI - News): 'SMDI is radio frequency for the SIRI [Sirius Satellite Radio] satellites of the world ... I want to steer clear. I am telling you, sell SMDI and never look back.'Brocade (NYSE: BRC - News): 'I think BRCD's had a nice run and it's time to move on. They did that good merger with MacData... 'Citigroup (NYSE: C - News): ' ... it's still run by a lawyer, and we don't really care for banks that are run by lawyers ... C is not going to hurt you. I just don't think it's a great stock to own. Let's cut back a little.'Anadigics (NASDAQ: ANAD - News): 'No on radio frequency names; it's too competitive and I don't want to be there. Sell, sell, sell!'H&R Block (NYSE: HRB - News): 'No. Sell, sell, sell. Permanent sell. Plus, they've run afoul of Governor Spitzer. No.'Home Depot (NYSE: HD - News): 'No, no. Jim Cramer's Mad Money Lightning Round

Bullish calls:
Cemex (NYSE: CX - News): 'CX is one of the best stocks out there. ... CX - the Mexican cement company that's buying American companies... that one's for me. I'm giving it two thumbs up.'BEA Systems (NASDAQ: BEAS - News): 'They are saying this BEAS hasn't taken off since Cramer recommended it. So, therefore, it must have no mojo, and they could not be more wrong. If you look at the Oracle quarter, after that disappointment, you can see it cries out for an acquisition. It needs China play. You know what that spells: BEAS.'Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO - News)Allegheny Technologies (NYSE: ATI - News): 'I say you should only playing with the house's money right now. This company produces stainless steel - but much more important - it makes titanium for BA. It makes airplane titanium, therefore, it is still too cheap. I bless it, anytime it's under $90.'Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY - News): I think OXY's good. There's like a scale here, of which are the companies most levered to crude: The company that should go up or down with the crude is OXY. The least levered is XOM. I like to have a little bit of both.'Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM - News): 'I don't like to be unlevered like XOM, although I know it's going higher. 'Chevron (NYSE: CVX - News): 'So I settle on CVX, which is my fave, for those of you who want steady income. It yields 2.75%, and it just seems to always have a bid underneath, but it doesn't go down.'Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN - News): 'And, for those who want to roll the dice, I talk about the stock that got downgraded today, criminally and wrong, which is DVN. DVN's good.'
Bearish calls:
Smith & Wesson (NASDAQ: SWHC - News): 'I don't like the stock. SWHC was one we nailed in the $5-6 range. When it got to $14, we said we be hogs.'JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU - News): 'JDSU - I have been over that quarter with a fine-tooth comb... I think that JDSU - and let me roll up in CIEN - these I call - these are 'too hard' because they're too likely to give you (an electric shock sound).'Ciena (NASDAQ: CIEN - News): 'I feel very strongly that anybody who calls me with the JDSU or the CIEN... I would tell you that they should buy CSCO.'Allied Waste (NYSE: AW - News): 'You know, I was going to recommend this stock. I feel like this is the best one of the waste removal companies, but here's your problem: It grows at 13%, and it sells at 24x earnings. On Jim Cramer's Mad Money, the upper limit is 26x. So, if I told you to buy this at $12, I'd have to tell you to ring the register at $14. So, the answer is 'don't buy, don't buy.'
