Jim Cramer's Stop Trading May 8th

Gold is back, Jim Cramer said on CNBC's "Stop Trading!" segment Thursday. Cramer dismissed Wall Street observers' claims that the dollar is correlated with oil. "Oil is correlated to supply and demand," he said. "The stocks are signaling that gold is going higher." He recommended Agnico-Eagle Mines (AEM) and Yamana Gold (AUY). "They're not done going up," he said.
"Retail was a great trade," Cramer said, but "we're finished. I want to sell retail." He instructed viewers to get out of Nordstrom (JWN), Phillips-Van Heusen (PVH ) and VF Corp. (VFC).
On the other hand, "Wal-Mart (WMT) is the keeper in this group," Cramer said. However, he observed that "Kohl's (KSS) said good things, the stock is going down. This group has had it." He was also bearish on Target (TGT).
Cramer then moved on to discuss oil drilling in India. He said companies like Transocean (RIG) are "really talking about India."

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Review Dec. 6th

Shaw Group (SGR), ABB (ABB)
Infrastructure is one of Cramer's favorite bull markets, and nuclear energy, particularly for emerging economies like India and China, is the sweet spot. Cramer's pick in this sector is Shaw Group, which reported a "beautiful quarter" with a 40% increase in revenue and a backlog of projects which is up 57% since last year and is triple the size of the company. Cramer prefers Shaw to ABB and added, "Given its diminutive size, I would be shocked if it was independent a year from now. But anyhow we like this one for the long haul."
Good as Gold: Yamana (AUY) Barrick (ABX)
Cramer reiterated his two favorite gold picks, Barrick and Yamana, as insurance against inflation. He stressed these are stocks to hold onto and should not be sold if one doesn't see immediate results. He noted AUY has a large mine in China, and ABX succeeds finding and producing more gold when other companies in the sector have stalled.
Sell Block: Peabody Energy (BTU), Massey Energy (MEE), Arch Coal (ACI), International Coal (ICO), Apache (APA), XTO Energy (XTO) Andarko (APC), ConcoPhillips (COP)
King Coal has been dethroned by a recent bill in Congress which threatens to raise dramatically the costs of burning the fuel, and will render stocks in the sector as "untouchable." While investors have been "coining money" with BTU, Cramer would sell the stock, as well as MEE, ACI and ICO. At the same time, Cramer declared "2008 is going to be the year for natural gas," and recommended buying XTO, APC, APA and COP.
CEO Interview: Matthew O'Connell, GeoEye (GEOY)
Matthew O'Connell announced the launch of the company's third satellite, and mentioned Boeing, General Dynamics and ITT participated in the production and launch of the satellite. "We paid up to get a great team," said O'Connell. Cramer said GEOY is and will remain a great speculative stock.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Review June 14th

Cramer's Little Red Book: Cnooc Ltd. ADS (NYSE: CEO), China Mobile Ltd. (NYSE: CHL), Seaspan Corp. (NYSE: SSW)
Cramer says he is being dragged "kicking and screaming" to devote a program to Chinese stocks, adding he doesn't like the overheated market and the Communist Chinese government. He considers CEO, CHL, and SSW as relatively stable stocks, but he would wait for a pullback before buying. CEO is the top offshore drilling company in China and 67% is owned by the government which means some "anti-competitive advantages," says Cramer. In addition the company has rights to 51% of all successful discoveries in offshore China, is expected to grow 30% by 2008-09, and is one of the few oil companies which is replacing reserves faster than it pumps them. CHL has 68% of all Chinese mobile subscriptions in China, and wireless is expected to double in five years. Even if China Telecom enters the wireless game, Cramer predicts it will buy CHL. Finally, SSW is the largest company in the ship leasing industry, and Cramer thinks its 6% yield could go higher.
Much ado about Baidu.com (NasdaqGM: BIDU), Focus Media (NasdaqGM: FMCN)
Cramer's first speculative Chinese play is FMCN which makes digital billboards and, "has momentum and consistently raises numbers." Cramer commented "Baidu is the only company in the world that is beating Google at it game." The stock has had a "huge run" but is still undervalued. Cramer would wait for both of these stocks to come down before buying.
Mad Mail: Sears Holdings (NasdaqGS: SHLD), Gamestop (NYSE: GME), Petsmart (NasdaqGS: PETM), Yamana Gold (NYSE: AUY)
Cramer said since the Fed is not going to ease rates, the only retail stocks he would consider would be SHLD, GME, and PETM. He told another caller AUY is the only non-speculative gold stock he would recommend on his show.

It's basically a first aid kit you've got to take with you everywhere you go.'Total System Services (NYSE: TSS - News): 'You are in great shape. TSS, I believe, will not be independent a year from now ... I like TSS as a takeover. And, on earnings, it should go to $40 alone.'Celgene (NasdaqGS: CELG - News): 'The stock's had a nice pullback, which means you should back up the truck. Every time we've had an 8% pullback in CELG, it has been miraculous to buy. I'm saying this time it will be no different.'Sappi Ltd. Jim Cramer's Mad Money Review- Jan. 8th

Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ: GILD - News), Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE: TMO - News)
Cramer would buy GILD before Tuesday's J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, which should give the stock a bounce. Cramer thinks that 2007 will be a good year for biotech in general, and he comments that GILD has a great pipleline and "the best portfolio of HIV drugs on the market." However, The Street is not yet comfortable with GILD's Myogen acquisition, and once fears are put to rest at the conference, Cramer predicts that there will be increased interest in the stock. Cramer would also buy TMO before the company makes its presentation at the conference at 11 a.m on Tuesday, and this "coming out party" and its merger with Fisher Scientific should have a beneficial effect on the stock. Cramer calls TMO the "premier arms supplier to the whole pharmaceutical business" and although it is not a pure play, its end markets are strong. He notes that analysts have been "falling over themselves" to raise estimates, and they still don't realize what a "powerhouse" TMO is, since it will be able to cut costs, increase margins and see 32% growth in 2007. "It's the biggest, the best and deserves to trade at a premium to other life sciences companies," Cramer said, noting that it is cheaper than its rivals.
Related: Gilead paid a high premium to acquire Myogen.
Optium (NASDAQ: OPTM - News)
Cramer declared that OPTM was the most overlooked IPO of 2006 because it was unfairly lumped together with other telcos. He would pick up this "overlooked and written off" stock because it has a triple play of internet, TV and radio. In addition, it is the "optical infrastructure play we have been hoping for, " and has tripled its backlog. Since OPTM is speculative, Cramer suggests doing research before buying, and says that those who find the company's technology hard to understand should move on to something else.

CEO Interview: Peter Marrone, Yamana Gold (AMEX: AUY - News)
Cramer asked Peter Marrone to explain how AUY has such low finding costs and why it is a good option for those who want to invest in gold stocks rather than in gold itself. Marrone explained that Yamana has large mines, and thanks to the size and scope of operations, AUY can produce gold at a low cost. He went on to say that the cash cost of producing AUY's gold is low because of its byproduct credits from copper production, and that its costs for 2007 to 2008 will actually be negative. When Cramer asked about potential acquisitions, Marrone replied that there may be some opportunities in Latin America once AUY's stock price is consistent with its peers. Cramer recommended AUY as a strong gold stock.
