Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap April 9

By Any Other Name: Rosetta Resources (NasdaqGS: ROSE)
Cramer told investors to take a look at ROSE, a small, often-overlooked gas company which he says is "criminally mispriced" since it purchased Calpine Powers oil and natural gas assets for much less than they were worth. He comments ROSE is a "$35 stock, masquerading as a $21 name" and the assets it purchased were worth two and a half times the $1.5 billion ROSE paid in 2005. The one concern keeping ROSE back is Calpine's creditors may want to reclaim Calpine's assets from ROSE, but Cramer feels any attempt will fail, because " ... 'it is very hard to get this 'fraudulent conveyance' stuff." Although Cramer would wait a couple of days and use limit orders, he would definitely back up the truck and buy ROSE.
The Next Big Thing in Biotech: Incyte (NasdaqGM: INCY)
Cramer recalls how he "nailed" Nastech Pharmaceuticals in March, calls Incyte the next Nastech and "the stuff dreams are made of." With $330 million in cash, Incyte is a company that trades on hope, comments Cramer, and such companies are good investments if they are developing drugs for a variety of markets and have big end markets. Currently, INCY is producing drugs for HIV, inflammation and cancer, areas with "tremendous" potential. Although INCY has yet to see a Phase III drug, "it has potentially positive catalysts coming out soon," and Cramer would buy INCY before it releases Phase I and Phase II data later in the year. He would wait until Thursday and pick up INCY at $7.
Consolation Prizes: Valueclick (NasdaqGS: VCLK) and aQuantive (NasdaqGS: AQNT)
The real winner in the bidding war between Google and Microsoft over Doubleclick will be VCLK or AQNT, said Cramer, since the "loser" will buy either one of these companies. In addition, Time Warner and Yahoo have also been looking at VCLK and AQNT. Even if no one buys the companies, Cramer is bullish on them for their earnings alone; "The stocks can hold their own if they don't get acquired."
CEO Interview: Jordan Greenhall of DivX (NasdaqGM: DIVX)
Jordan Greenhall commented DIVX's great quarter wasn't a surprise with "strong performance" across the board. When asked to explain what his company does, Greenhall said the object is "to take Internet at the center and move it out to any device you can think of." When Cramer asked about a secondary offering, Greenhall replied DIVX is not considering that strategy right now. After the interview, Cramer said, "This stock is going higher than it did after-hours... Up 10% is not enough. This stock is rocking again."

'Public Storage (NYSE: PSA - News): 'PSA is one of those incredible situations where I believe... this group's in bull market mode, and it is not about to stop, and I think PSA is two thumbs up, way up!'Tower Group (NASDAQ: TWGP - News): ' I like the insurance business. Obviously, a little expensive versus price to book, because it sells at like 4x book. But it's growth rate is equal to its P/E multiple.'Transocean (NYSE: RIG - News)GlobalSantaFe (NYSE: GSF - News)Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC - News): 'WFC - best in show quarter.'JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM - News): 'I suggest you swap into JPM.' WFC - best in show quarterJ.C. Penney (NYSE: JCP - News): 'Let me just tell you to be in some JCP.'
Bearish calls:
General Motors (NYSE: GM - News): 'GM is in a holding pattern. It can't do anything until the numbers start getting better. Had they not lost Jerry York ... the stock would have gone to $40. Right now, it is strictly 'don't buy, don't buy...'Hertz Global (NYSE: HTZ - News): ' Take the money and run! I don't want to be there.'Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE - News): 'The ICE still does not melt... I do not understand why this stock is so strong, other than it trades oil... I still like NYX more. Don't buy, don't buy.'LoJack (NASDAQ: LOJN - News): 'They missed the quarter.'Del Monte Foods (NYSE: DLM - News): ' ... it has been historically a bad investment, and it's not going to change. That company is poorly run!'ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ONNN - News): 'No, no, no. Time to ring the register. That particular part of the tech bull market is on hold until August.'DivX (NASDAQ: DIVX - News): 'We recommended it at $18. It was a fabulous call. We pulled the trigger. When it got to $28, we said enough is enough. It's back to $21. I'm not going away from that.'King Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: KG - News): ' ... I have disliked KG for as long as this stock has been going down. I don't like the generics. I reiterate my sell on KG. 'Tata Motors (NYSE: TTM - News): 'I cannot in good conscience say that I am going to recommend that you buy it, but I am certainly, certainly going to tell you - if you own TTM - you can hold it, but you better do a little schnitzelling...'Hercules Offshore (NASDAQ: HERO - News): 'This is an example of the need to be selective. I want you to sell HERO. I don't like the U.S. offshore market.'The Bank of New York (NYSE: BK - News): ' I'm not a big fan of stocks that have already announced big deals.'Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO - News): 'No. I don't need that teen ghetto - it's too hard for me.'

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Review

Four Dividend Gifts: U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB - News), National City (NYSE: NCC - News), Asbury Automotive (NYSE: ABG - News), and United Online (NASDAQ: UNTD - News)
Cramer listed four stocks that "keep on giving" with their great dividends. U.S. Bancorp has a 4.4% yield and a 35 year history of consistently raising its dividend, Cramer observes, adding that it has a good buyback program and a "pristine balance sheet." In addition to National City's 4.2% dividend and its "big fat buyback" Cramer applauds the company for getting rid of its low-margin mortgage business and setting up a position in Florida. ABG, which sells cars in the $30,000 to $35,000 range has good earnings growth, comments Cramer, and has the money to raise its 3.3% dividend. Finally, Cramer calls UNTD "the big one" with a 6.1% dividend and a "serious growth business."

Hot and Cool: Omniture (NASDAQ: OMTR - News), InnerWorkings (NASDAQ: INWK - News), Riverbed (NASDAQ: RVBD - News), DivX (NASDAQ: DIVX - News) and Acme Pocket (NASDAQ: APKT - News)
Last week, Cramer discussed "hot stocks" and said that OMTR, INWK and RVBD were not "too hot to buy," and are good for the next six to nine months, but on Friday he emphasized that he would sell DIVX. Cramer's fifth hot stock is APKT, which is a pioneer in the Internet telephony business and "hasn't even started to run yet." Cramer notes that it has reported good profits for four consecutive quarters, has "massive revenue growth" and, since it is covered by only five analysts, APKT has upgrade potential. Although those who hold the stock on the April 10th expiration of its share lockup will be hurting, Cramer assures investors that they have a few months to watch the stock rise and says ACME is "too cool not to handle, and it is far from being too hot."

Desperate Hedgies: Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL - News), Google (NASDAQ: GOOG - News), Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS - News), Research In Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM - News), AIG (NYSE: AIG - News), Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN - News), Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ - News) and Halliburton (NYSE: HAL - News)
Hedge fund managers whose funds have not been doing well in the past year are frantically selling stocks such as APPL, GOOG and GS which are "symbolic of the market" to make it seem as if the performance of their funds is related to the health of the Dow. Instead of worrying, Cramer suggests investors use this "short-term, rumor-down market" to pick up some good quality stocks such as RIMM, AIG, DVN, JNJ and HAL at low prices; "After buying them on the cheap next week, take them in 2007 and enjoy it," he said.
CEO Interview: Bruce Williamson Dynegy (NYSE: DYN - News)
Bruce Williamson said that his company's deal with LS Power will increase assets under management by 70% and will add more cash flow. When asked how the deal will affect DYN's exposure to natural gas, Williamson replied, "With LS Power, it is going to to drop our exposure of a dollar move of natural gas down from 10% of EBITDA to a 4% move in EBITDA... It stabilizes the platform." Cramer applauded Williamson and called him a "winner."

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Review

Bright Smile: Syneron Medical (NASDAQ: ELOS - News) with Palomar (NASDAQ: PMTI - News)
After telling people to swap out of ELOS into what he had thought was best-of-breed laser company Palomar, Cramer says Syneron is going to make a comeback after having been written off by The Street following two lackluster quarters. The stock was in the mid-40s, but is now sitting at $25.70, has an average of 30% revenue growth and is up46% in operating margins. Cramer likes ELOS because it has a major catalyst, dental laser, which will mean significant growth for the company. In addition, ELOS could be a takeover target. Cramer says the worst is over for this cheap stock and it is "ready to run."
DivX (NASDAQ: DIVX - News) Delay
Although he called DivX "the hottest of the hot" and the stock is up 52% since he recommended it in September, Cramer would wait on DivX. This compay has a deal with Google and is expanding into Eastern Europe and India, but has limited upgrade potential, since analysts give it four buys and one hold. Although there won't be a major selloff until its lockup expiration on March 22, Cramer believes that not many people will want to get into DivX until after that date. In addition, a second offering could crater the stock. "I don't want you in DivX for the next few months," Cramer said, addomg that he likes the stock cheaper.

Mad Mail: Trump Entertainment (NASDAQ: TRMP - News) and Gap (NYSE: GPS - News)
Cramer regretted making the prediction that TRMP would get a license to build a casino in Philadelphia, and said investors could hold onto the stock, but it probably won't be moving until summertime. Concerning GPS, Cramer doesn't want to be for or against it and said that it has no leveraged buyout on the horizon.
