Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Nov. 15th

On Thursdays show, Cramer talked about the confusion in the markets, and how you should be looking to invest in companies that can control their own destiny and have strong customers. Cramer thinks that Quanta Services (PWR) is a stock that fits this profile. He said it is an infrastructure play, they have a large backlog, and they bought one of their major competitors in August, so they have less competition now. Cramer does not think this is the time to make a trade into this stock, but he thinks it will make money over the longer term.
After that Cramer went to the phonelines. The first caller asked if now is the time to buy transportation infrastructure stocks, and Cramer recommended Chicago Bridge and Iron (CBI), plus told the caller to watch for another pick later in the show. The next caller asked about Mueller Water (MWA), and Cramer said that he likes Tetra Tech (TTEK) instead because he thinks Mueller is poorly run. Third caller asked about Shaw Group (SGR) since it has dropped so much recently, and Cramer said that it is a strong company that is coining money, so you should stick with it.
Cramer's other big infrastructure recommendation, Aecom (ACM). He has a bullish position on the stock since the stock is off $9 from his 52 week high. Its biggest customer is the federal government so it knows it will get paid, and one of its biggest competitors was just bought out. Cramer has been promoting the stock for several months now, and the stock has gone up since his initial recommendation.
Sell Block: Cramer started off by talking about private equity, specifically Blackstone (BX) and Fortress (FIG). Cramer said he does not understand how these companies work, therefore doesn't want to invest in them. He's putting the entire sector in the Sell Block, including companies like Cerberus that are not public, but are considering an IPO.
The CEO of California Pizza Kitchen (CPKI) was on the show to talk about their growth plans and how they plan to contain their costs. Cramer said that although the restaurant business is difficult, the stock is near a 52 week low and it is a well run company. He wants you to do some homework and take a look at the stock.
Sudden Death: He was bearish on every stock mentioned. They were Coeur d'Alene Mines (CDE), Tata Motors (TTM), Build a Bear Workshop (BBW), Gerdau Ameristeel (GNA), and Hansen Medical (HNSN).

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Oct. 1st

Ford (F): Cramer began Monday's show by recommending investors buy Ford. Thinks that it will profit off the fact that GM broke the unions with its latest negotiations and that it is selling some of its units. Jim then took a couple of phone calls. The first call was about Tata Motors (TTM), which Cramer likes, but he thinks is too expensive. The second caller asked about Toyota (TM). Cramer won't back Toyota because the weak dollar hurts their sales and the Japanese market is the worst in the world.
In the next segment, Cramer continued to talk about investing opportunities related to GM's success against the UAW. He looked off the beaten path and found American Axle and Manufacturing (AXL) since the company makes auto parts, and has a labor contract that ends in the near future.
Cramer then took some more phone calls. He was asked about Garmin (GRMN), which Cramer thinks fell too much, but he will be concerned about it once the Navteq (NVT) and Nokia (NOK) merger is completed next year. Another caller asked about Eaton (ETN), and Cramer said that it’s one of his favorite manufacturing stocks. The next caller asked about CarMax (KMX), and Cramer said that you should think about pulling the trigger in late November to avoid tax-loss selling.
After the lightning round, Cramer talked about a stock that went public this summer without much attention and considers it an overlooked IPO. His pick is Dolan Media (DM), which helps process mortgage defaults.
Mad Mail:
Cramer read emails about NYSE-EuroNext (NYX), which Cramer thinks he "blew it" when he recommended the stock. Boeing (BA): Despite past devastating news, Cramer believes in it. Siemens (SI): Cramer thinks is in great shape and that you should hold onto it.

Jim Cramer's Stop Trading Mar. 29

Buy Reliance Steel (RS) off the big deal between U.S. Steel (X) and Lone Star (LSS) deal, Jim Cramer said Thursday on CNBC's "Stop Trading!" segment.
Cramer said Reliance, up 3% Thursday afternoon, is "the cheapest that's left" among the consolidation-crazed steel names. Of the U.S. Steel plan to acquire Lone Star, Cramer said, "What a deal."
Cramer likes GlobalSantaFe (GSF), saying a "monster seller" in the stock is giving investors an opportunity to "take advantage of the weakness" that has the stock down fractionally Thursday. Cramer believes Norway's SeaDrill could end up buying or merging with GlobalSantaFe.
Cramer likes Tata Motors (TTM), the Indian auto play, and is taking a look at Frozen Food Express (FFEX) and RadioShack (RSH) on Bob Olstein's advice।
